Our latest house project was painting this little window inset in our wall. The kitchen which you can see a tiny bit of in the below picture was an addition. (I'm not sure what they did for cooking before there was a kitchen.....) We assume this window inset was an actual window to the outside that was just sheet rocked over. I really like having the shelves there but we thought it would look a lot nicer and cleaner painted white.
So after a little sanding, priming and painting here is the finished product!
We have a really tiny house so anything we can do to make it look bigger helps. What are your tips for creating more space (or an illusion of more space) in your homes?
